This terrible for all in that block, where i live there are a few blocks like that, that i would say is unfit for people to live in but they ignore that and still house people in my view i think that flats like this should be knocked down and rebuilt again it would be cheaper than the cost of lives and being sued as thats what i think will happen next.
Its sad really why cant we have good housing now a days i mean we pay enough for it as it is.
People that escaped the fire by seconds are really lucky but i do also feel very sorry for the familys that have lost love ones over it.
And kids involved in it to.

The trouble with pulling things down is that you have to rehouse those who are already there first and there is no room for new places until you pull down the old. When tower blocks were built they were thought to be the answer to bad housing.
